Alku Animations was born out of the need to experience new horizons involved in the technological world. It all started when Juan Sebastián read the Inter-American Development Bank's book "Videogames are not a game", that was when he had his first contacts with this industry. This occurs after having founded their successful venture: Alkupets, in which they make pet toys from recycled raw materials.

From here comes the call that we ever have to explore and set new goals and decided to launch into this new industry. After winning Lab2Change, an initiative co-created by IMPAQTO and Diners Club Ecuador Dial that sought disruptive market solutions focused on promoting the development of technology for finance and electronic commerce; The first video game "Save to take care of Fauna" is created in 2020, available in the Play Store and App Store. For this, Doménica and Josué joined the team, who decided to take the plunge to be part of something unique in the country and contribute to what is now Alku Animations.
